Friends of the River Crane Environment

This year we are again holding a dawn bird walk from the Shot Tower along the Crane to see the birds at dawn and celebrate International Dawn Chorus Day. Take a walk and catch the early morning birds in Crane Park with our expert Keith Martin. You will be surprised to learn about the number of species we have living close by. 

The walk starts early at dawn from the Shot Tower. No dogs on the walk today.  Booking is essential so we know how many folk to cater for.  Tickets will be open from 1st April 2022 and are restricted in number as it will be dark. Please do not come if you do not have a ticket as we unfortunately shall have to turn you away.

Do wear sturdy footwear, and in clothing suitable for the weather on that day.  Due to safeguarding needs all children under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.  We are a very sociable group and look forward to meeting you.
