A Guided Walk of Hounslow Heath

Thursday 25 April 2024
10:30 to 12:00

Join us today for a marvellous walk of Hounslow Heath. We are lucky to have Andy from Lampton360, who take care of Hounslow Heath. He will show us a combination of the history of the site, current conservation practices including some of the ponds, the anthill meadow, the heather pen and possibly the heather scrape, along with some wildlife spotting so we recommend bringing binoculars.  The route will be circular and will start & finish at the visitor centre. Book using this link.

We shall meet at the Hounslow Heath visitor centre, What3Words location is lakes.mops.elite. Free car parking is available in the adjacent car park, the entrance to this is on Frampton Road. Many buses are available on Staines Road.

Please come along with sturdy footwear, and in clothing suitable for the weather on that day. Also bring water. Due to safeguarding needs all children under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

We look forward to seeing you !!
