Family Tree walk on Crane Park Island Nature Reserve

Wednesday 01 June 2016
14:00 to 16:00

A special fun activity for children is being held today specifically about the local trees.  We shall be looking at trees, learning all about them, such as which trees like to have their toes beside the River Crane and which don't ! The walk and activities aim to guide children into learning about their local environment and identify some of the trees and their traits.

This is a fun tree walk for families with children aged 4 and above. There will be lots of activities on the way and an art and craft session in the Shot Tower.
Refreshments provided.

Please wear sturdy footwear and clothing suitable for the weather on that day. Whilst the event is free, registering is essential. Register

This walk is part of a joint project between London Wildlife Trust and the Friends of the River Crane Environment to increase the knowledge and understanding of the River Crane and its wildlife and history. It has been funded by Richmond Civic Pride Awards
