Friends of the River Crane Environment

Come along and shake off those Christmas calories !  Help us improve one of the new open spaces that runs alongside the River Crane.  We shall be doing a variety of jobs, suitable for all ages and skills.  An hour would be a great help or all day too.

• Maintain and woodchip the path that runs through the open space
• Remove ivy that is smothering apple trees
• Improve screening/dead hedge at end of the path
• Maintain the newly planted hedge that runs along the fence

Please wear suitable outdoor clothing and footwear as some areas may be a little muddy.  We shall have a lunch break about 12.30 so bring some sandwiches or snack with you.  We shall have hot drinks and biscuits to share.  Thank you for coming along !
