Friends of the River Crane Environment

We will be continuing our annual assault on removing invasive Himalayan Balsam and planting native species on Sunday.  This is one of our most popular volunteering events as the Himalyan Balsam pulls up so easily...  it is so gratifying to see huge results from your effort so quickly !

FORCE would greatly appreciate your help and, although pulling Himalayan Balsam is the easiet job ever, we can align activities to your ability or skills if you prefer something else.  If you only have an hour do come along, likewise if you want to spend all day with us. Please wear suitable outdoor clothing and footwear as some areas may be a little muddy, plus sun cream as we are in open spaces.  We shall have a lunch break about 12.30 so bring some sandwiches or snack with you.  We bring hot drinks and biscuits to share.  Thank you for coming along !
