River Restoration walk

Saturday 01 June 2019
10:30 to 12:00

EV TCV River deflectors

This walk will be looking at the river and habitat restoration works and talking about the opportunities for further river restoration work over the next ten years.  The photo shows TCV volunteers installing river deflectors in 2016 so we will visit this site to see how things have improved in the last five years. The event will start at the Shot Tower near Crane Park walking along the River Crane ending at Twickenham Station, and will be led by Rob Gray, FORCE Trustee.  This walk is planned to support London River's Week.

As we shall be walking over varied terrain and some of the ground may be muddy, please wear appropriate attire and footwear.  It is forecast for 23°C and dry weather on Saturday so please bring pelnty of water and suncream. The walk is free but please register so we know how many people are attending.
