Looking for Signs of Spring Walk

Wednesday 19 February 2020
11:00 to 12:00

WT Watervole

Today we shall be looking for signs of spring in Merway Nature Park and along beside the Duke of Northumberland River from where it branches from the River Crane and into Kneller Gardens.  This will be a lovely gentle spring walk taking in the local sights, looking for plants and wildlife along the river banks as signs that spring is coming.

The walk will start on the Kingfisher Bridge between Kneller Gardens and Mereway Nature Park, Twickenham and will be led by FORCE Trustees. This walk is being held in half term holidays as a family event. As it is a FORCE Family Challenge activity bring your challenge card to collect your stamp !  For those who haven't signed up yet, just click here to join in and start collecting stamps for the FORCE Challenge water vole badge !

Registration here is necessary as numbers are limited. As we shall be walking over varied terrain and some of the ground may be muddy so please wear appropriate attire and footwear.  All children under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult due to safeguarding needs.  We look forward to seeing you !!
