Mindfulness in Crane Park

Sunday 20 September 2020
10:30 to 12:00

WT Mindfulness

Unfortunately this walk has had to be cancelled as the leader has relocated to another part of the country.  However, we are looking at how to hold talks and sessions online, via zoom hopefully.  Keep watching this calendar !

This is a rare opportunity to explore how our relationship with the natural world can build a sense of stillness, wonder, and emotional resilience. Andrea Hosfeld, a local mindfulness teacher with Space to Be, will be leading us on a walk along the River Crane which will include periods of mindful movement, breath meditation, silence and reflection. Mindfulness is a practice which involves paying attention to your present moment experience with acceptance and non-judgement. When we walk with mindfulness we open ourselves up to all of our senses. If you’re interested in experiencing the meadows at Mill Road in Crane Park through a different lens with an open heart and mind, please come along!

Booking is essential so we know how many folk to cater.  This walk will go ahead taking into consideration any government and local council guidance at the time. If however, there is guidance to the contrary we may have to postpone the walk so please check this website nearer the time and we shall email those who have registered. Please come along with sturdy footwear, and in clothing suitable for the weather on that day.  Due to safeguarding needs all children under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.  We are a very sociable group and look forward to meeting you !
