FORCE have created activities to keep all the family busy.... investigate plants...

Draw a picture of your own imaginary plant. Think about each of the different parts - roots, stem, leaves, flower, fruit or seeds. What would they look like, where would you find them, would the plant be small or large ? What colour would it be ? Then go to the Family Challenge and earn yourself a stamp ! 

Investigate lichen while you are out in the open spaces along the River Crane. How many different types can you find, and where is the best place to find them? Use the Natural History Museum Guide to lichen on twigs to identify those that you find.
