Friends of the River Crane Environment

 You may not know that the River Crane starts as Yeading Brook at Headstone Manor in Harrow.  Over the last few years there has been a project to resolve flooding issues and create more faciltiies for people to enjoy the park.  To celebrate the completion of the projects for Parks for People & Flood Alleviation, an open day is being held to which you are invited. This event is organised by London Borough of Harrow with Thames 21 & the Friends of Headstone Manor Park.

There will be tours of the new wetland areas, orchards, playground, Yeading Brook, the museum and you can visit the historical Manor House with it's moat.  The cafe will be open for refreshments too.  More details are available on their website.  It's a lovely spot to explore on a trip out this summer.
