Friends of the River Crane Environment

Help us maintain this tucked away corner of Crane Park where we will be doing such jobs as:

- Opening up the hazel grove by clearing scrub and woodchipping the path
 - Coppicing trees
- Preparing the site for delivery of a bench
- Planting bulbs

FORCE would greatly appreciate your help in maintaining this local environment for us all as there is always plenty to do. We have a restricted number of places so booking is essential. Please only attend if you have registered and have a 'ticket', otherwise we may regretfully have to turn you away on the day.

Two sessions are being held so you can book just one or both :

• Morning 10:30 - 12:45 Booking here soon
• Afternoon 13:15 - 15:30  booking here soon

Everybody is welcome to join us. If this is your first time volunteering with us kindly fill in our welfare form in advance. Due to safeguarding needs all children under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult. We recommend you wear tough outdoor clothes and footwear with long trousers and a long sleeved top. If you can stay all day please bring along some lunch and something to drink. Or come along for an hour or two to see what we get up to !
