Friends of the River Crane Environment

We are meeting at Butts farm for this Volunteer Sunday. Meet point is at the Dragonfly Bench in Saxon Avenue

FORCE would greatly appreciate your help in maintaining this local environment for us all as there is always plenty to do.  Our activities are suitable for all skill levels and will include:

• Orchard maintenance
• Hedge and hazel maintenance
• Woodchipping riverside path
• Removing trees blocking riverside view
• Litterpicking the site

Two sessions are being held so you can book just one or both :

• Morning 10:30 - 12:30 Book your place here
• Afternoon 13:00 - 15:00  book your place here

Everybody is welcome to join us but we have a restricted number of places so booking is essential. Please only attend if you have registered and have a 'ticket', otherwise we may regretfully have to turn you away on the day. If this is your first time volunteering with us kindly fill in our welfare form in advance. Due to safeguarding needs all children under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult. 

We recommend you wear tough outdoor clothes and footwear with long trousers and a long sleeved top. If you can stay all day please bring along some lunch and something to drink. We look forward to seeing you !
