Friends of the River Crane Environment

This year we are happy to be celebrating the 20th Anniversary of FORCE ! To mark the occasion we are holding three walks to visit the paths and enjoy the green locale. Over these 20 years 20 benches have been installed by FORCE along the river banks and parks so we shall take this opportunity to visit each bench and chat about the area.  This is also to celebrate all the help given by members, volunteers and trustees to grow the River Crane into a place that so many people now enjoy.

This is a gentle convivial walk from the new Willow bench in Willow Way in Crane Park beside Hospital Bridge Road, taking in the orchard bench, jumping fish and Shot Tower amongst others. We shall end this loop walk near Ellerman Avenue in Twickenham. 

Booking here is essential so we know how many folk to cater for.  We shall meet at the Willow bench : Willow Way section of the park lies on the south of the river immediately upstream of Hospital Bridge Road and is accessible from Willow Way off Hospital Bridge Road. Do wear sturdy footwear, and in clothing suitable for the weather on that day.  Due to safeguarding needs all children under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.  We are a very sociable group and look forward to meeting you.
