Friends of the River Crane Environment

The location of this Volunteer Sunday is in Little Park. Everybody is welcome to join us. We always have plenty of jobs for all ages and skills such as : 

• Completing in-river enhancements (weather permitting)
• Early balsam bashing
• Riverbank planting
• Woodchipping paths
• Litterpicking
• Woodchipping paths

FORCE would greatly appreciate your help in maintaining this local environment for us all as there is always plenty to do. We have a restricted number of places so booking here is essential, andwill be open about a week beforehand.  The entrance to Little Park is on the north-west side of the Hanworth Road (A314) between the two branches of the River Crane, adjacent to the South West Middlesex (Hanworth) Crematorium.

If this is your first time volunteering with us kindly fill in our welfare form in advance. Due to safeguarding needs all children under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult. We recommend you wear tough outdoor clothes and footwear with long trousers and a long sleeved top. If you can stay all day please bring along some lunch and something to drink. Or come along for an hour or two to see what we get up to !
