River Dipping for Invertebrates on the River Crane
Friday 16 August 2024
10:30 to 11:30
Come along to Crane Park Island beside the River Crane for a family morning looking at the invertebrate life in the river. FORCE take part in ZSL Citizen Science Monitoring to build a picture of the health of the River Crane. This is a family day arranged especially to enjoy learning about the river and how local people are working together to improve the ecology of the river. We will meet at the Shot Tower ( What3words location is host.about.scope )before going on to Crane Park Island which is a London Wildlife Trust nature reserve.
Please come along in stout footwear – or wellingtons if you would like to join in with the invertebrate collection - and in clothing suitable for the weather on that day. Book using this link as we need to know how many folk will attend and places are limited. Booking will open a month beforehand.
This event is organised by FORCE and London Wildlife Trust.
Due to safeguarding needs all children under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
We look forward to seeing you !
