Friends of the River Crane Environment

The venue for this Volunteer Sunday is at Hospital Bridge Road, meeting at the Kingfisher bench . We always have plenty of jobs for all ages and skills such as : 

• digging out the trench around the reed island,
• clearing scrapes
• planting recently cleared backwaters
• litter picking

FORCE would greatly appreciate your help in maintaining this local environment for us all as there is always plenty to do. We have plenty of places but please book here so we know how many folk to expect.  We recommend you bring wellingtons, waders if you have them and clothes you don’t mind getting dirty as it will be muddy.

Everybody is welcome to join us. If this is your first time volunteering with us kindly fill in our welfare form in advance. Due to safeguarding needs all children under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult. If you can stay all day please bring along some lunch and something to drink. Or come along for an hour or two to see what we get up to !
