Friends of the River Crane Environment

This Volunteer Sunday is to meet in Kneller gardens at the Kingfisher bench, look out for the FORCE flag. We always have plenty of jobs for all ages and skills such as : 

• enhancing the dog dip by adding gravel,
• maintenance around the newly glades in and around Mereway Nature Park
• creating a bug hotel.
• hopefully we’ll also be planting woodland bulbs /plants
• litter picking.

FORCE would greatly appreciate your help in maintaining this local environment for us all as there is always plenty to do. We have a certain number of places so booking is preferred so we know how many folk to expect, but do come along on the day if you feel like joining in.

If this is your first time volunteering with us kindly fill in our welfare form in advance. Due to safeguarding needs all children under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult. We recommend you wear tough outdoor clothes and footwear with long trousers and a long sleeved top. If you can stay all day please bring along some lunch and something to drink. Or come along for an hour or two to see what we get up to !
