Explore the River Crane Valley
Saturday 18 April 2026
10:00 to 11:00
Explore the lower Crane Valley with FORCE; looking at all the improvements for nature and people we have helped to deliver over the last 23 years. This will include visits to: the river restoration work at Mereway and elsewhere; new fish pass and dog dip area; the community orchard at Meadway; and the new kingfisher nesting bank at Mill Road. The walk will be led by FORCE Trustees as part of the National Day for Nature organised by the National Federation of Parks and Green Spaces.
The linear walk will meet at the cafe in Kneller Gardens and end at Mill Road, Twickenham; a short informative stroll. The event is free but do register here so we can know how many folk to expect.
Please come along with sturdy footwear as it may be muddy in parts, and in clothing suitable for the weather. Due to safeguarding needs all children under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult. We look forward to meeting you !
